Senior Asset Manager
What will you do?
The Senior Asset Manager will manage the – currently 12 – operational solar parks of Sunvest. You will monitor all contracts related to the operation of the solar parks and its associated batteries. You will ensure that all obligations under the various contracts are fulfilled, with the ultimate goal to optimize the performance and financial returns. You can expect active participation in a young, international and dynamic team and to participate in regular team building activities.
The scope of this role will include:
- Contract and interface management during the operational phase of renewable energy assets, which involves monitoring of technical and financial performance, ensuring correct implementation of O&M agreements, PPA agreements (e.g. in respect of metering and planned outages) and others, and liaising with relevant counterparties such as O&M contractors, the PPA counterparties, authorities, grid operators, and others;
- Financial and administrative obligations, which involve payments and reporting to senior and/or junior debt providers, other payment obligations and settlements, invoicing and annual and internal reporting;
- Preparing reports to the shareholders and external parties such as (co-)shareholders and lenders, and coordinating the timely receival of required information;
- Analysis of financial performance and risks, and suggest actions that improve our business case;
- Initial point of contact for project stakeholders (such as land owners, contractors, energy off takers) on financial and commercial topics;
- Processing of information request from our project stakeholders and government agencies, and coordinating the timely submission of required information;
- Ensuring the registration and compliance of the project companies to the relevant agencies and reporting mechanisms;
- Maintaining the project documentation system, and assuring it is complete and of high quality;
- Contribute to improvement and professionalization initiatives of the operational organization.
You will report to the managing directors of Sunvest and work from our office in Utrecht.

In addition, you bring:
- at least 5 years of relevant experience;
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, or economics (or equivalent);
- Strong analytical skills, eye for detail and high quality standards;
- Understanding of financial accounting (knowledge of standard legal procedures would be a great plus);
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written in Dutch and English (an additional language such as French or German would be a great plus);
- Experience at a (solar) developer or energy company is a must;
- A willingness and ability to work in cross border teams.
