Development

The design matches policy requirements and qualities of the land

Matching the local council’s policy and the qualities of the land, We at Sunvest will create a design.

In doing so, we look at the ideal combination of agriculture and solar panels.  We look at landscape integration and investigate what added value we can create for local nature and possible recreational and educational opportunities.

We also investigate whether it is appropriate to install a battery unit or to make hydrogen directly from the electricity.

We involve the local community

We discuss this first complete draft with the local council and engage with local residents, local interest groups and other authorities. Based on their reactions, we will adjust the plan each time to make it better.

We work towards a plan that supports agricultural practice, generates sufficient green power, promotes biodiversity and fits in well with the local environment. The plan must fit local wishes and requirements.

The permit

We submit the final plan for licensing to the appropriate government body.
At this stage, we also apply for a grid connection or ensure that we supply power to industry via a direct line, possibly also for making green hydrogen.

This phase ends with a permit to realise the plan.
