Operation

Operating the solar park

Once the solar park is built, our asset management department goes to work managing it. We don’t do that alone.

Maintenance of the area is done with the farmers, landowner or current tenant. This is because agricultural activity, ranging from strip farming, haying grassland or grazing animals, usually takes place between the solarpanels.

We digitally monitor the technical installation remotely. If any malfunctions occur, our maintenance engineers adres the issue. We also ensure the panels are washed with demineralised water every year or two. This keeps yields high.

The maintenance of landscape either done by the farmer himself or by a local party.

Yearly visits to check the landscape

We visit the solar park every year to check whether the intended nature and greenery is actually developing. If necessary, we take additional measures.

Our asset management department is always available for questions and comments from local residents.

Our responsibility does not end after the lifetime of the park

At the end of the permit term, we remove the park and restore the land to its intended state. If agreed in advance with the landowner and the government, we leave part of the green perimeter.

This is how we contribute to making agriculture more sustainable.
