Sunvest has its roots in the agrarian sector. Sunvest was founded by 2 farmer’s sons who 12 years ago started installing solar panels on farming roofs in the vicinity of Utrecht. They did this under the name of ProfiNRG. Since then, ProfiNRG has grown into both a successful installer of solar roofs and a well-respected builder of solar parks. During the 12 years of its existence, ProfiNRG has already installed more than 1,000 solar systems on roofs and created 15 solar parks. ProfiNRG has stayed true to its agrarian roots too: in 2018 the founders set up Sunvest, which right from the start has focussed on the development of solar parks in agrarian (and other) rural areas in particular.

Why we're different
The founders of Sunvest believe that an organisation can best serve its stakeholders by having as much knowhow and expertise as possible in-house. A compact team that is expert in the fields of engineering, construction, service, maintenance, ecology, financing and operational activities works hard to realise our ambition. This ambition is geared towards the realisation of solar parks that add value for both the landscape, the agrarian (or other) landowner, nature & the environment and the local community. We currently operate in the Benelux region, Germany and France. In the longer-term we expect to start operating in many other countries too.

These principles guide our decision-making processes too, from site selection and design all the way to construction and maintenance, ensuring that we make a positive contribution to the global shift towards clean energy.
